Home the Archive Uilleann Pipes Artists' Homepages Picture Gallery Cobblestone gigs		The first weekend of February 2002 I visited Paris for the Irish Music Weekend, organised by the Association Irlandaise. It was great to make new acquaintences and to visit such a beautiful city. I stayed at a colleague's friend (thanks again Isabelle!) near Place de la Republique and from there I did all the travelling by foot, a great way to explore the city. thmb_middle_DSCN2990.jpg popup preview (400 x 300, 28K) big image (1024 x 768, 145K) Mick Coyne, his brothers and a box player (what's his name?) were the guest musicians. Mick had gone for the moment, but the rest is sitting here, a jolly bunch playing away. Great class, great teacher.
